[2.050][UNRESOLVED] Gateway Manager logout

Hi,

i'm just clicking through the new features. i've been logged out three times despite activity.

Maybe the logout timeout is not set correctly on Gateway Manager activity.

    Hi,

    we were finally able to reproduce a possible cause of the mysterious logouts. Thanks for your patience - this was a tough one to find.

    I will award one point to the original reporter - no more because there weren't any useful hints included on how to reproduce the issue [:P]

    You can repeat the experience by logging in to both WebAdmin and Gateway Manager on ACC, then logging out from WebAdmin. When performing further actions in Gateway Manager, you will be kicked out. This also happens when the WebAdmin timeout activates. Hence the randomness and seemingly unrelated and mysterious logout behavior.

    If you think there are other logout issues which are not related to the "WebAdmin kills Gateway Manager session"-syndrome, please let us know in a new thread.

    The issue described will be fixed in the upcoming 2.060 Beta2 release which is to be released within the next days.

    that sounds good!

    at the moment it's nearly unusable, because it logs me out every 20 - 30 seconds.

    Can you describe the characteristics of your Gateway Manager connection? Bandwidth, latency, regular packet-loss every 20-30 seconds?

    The Gateway Manager cannot do any session-pickup if you loose your connection ...

    Sometimes it works for half an hour and other times i get logged out after a few seconds...

    I think in my case it has nothing to do with the Webadmin logout, because I'm only using the Gateway manager. I'm sorry, but for now i found no way to reproduce it.

    It happens if i connect via LAN but i think it happens more often if i connect via DSL. After a longer period of inactivity it logs me out on the next click in 99% of the cases. Seems as if there are more problems with Firefox than with IE.

    In the LAN i have latency below 1ms and no packet loss. I will also do some test at home. Maybe i find a way to reproduce it, i will let you know! [;)]

    If you're logged in into the Gateway Manager or just at the login screen and type a new address in the address bar you see the message logging out in the Gatway Manager before it loads the new site. This does not happen on the webadmin, is this normal behaviour or has it maybe something to do with the unexpected logouts?
