Using ASG 7.270 ... ACC shows 0 clients and 0 concurrent connections, although ASG graph shows concurrent connections for past 12 hours. See the attached screenshot. Also, expiration is not being reported (in this case, the license will expire in 2010)... to rephrase.. I guess it's using the base license as expiration... I suggest we use maintenance, etc. as the item to check the expiration on.
you are correct. The license will most probably have an expiration date of NEVER in the base options. But the internal mechanism for problem detection would check the expiry (END DATE) of each subscription instead.
We would need to extend the widget to show the date of the subscription which expires next, that would be way cooler. This was the original intent. Well ... the frontend guys will hate me once more [:D]
Regarding the concurrent connections ... as we show a percentage and you might have a license with unlimited number of connections it will show 0% as long as you have less than 10000 connections (because the reference is 999999 internal number of connections in the unlimited license). Same applies for the active user count which is calculated against 9999 if you have an unlimited user count.
I guess you would like to see the absolute number of connections and users, because in an unlimited license environment the percentages are pretty useless.

we will fix the license expiration issue in the device-agent, so you need to wait for the next release of ASG V7.3 BETA/RC somewhere around next week (don't know for sure). It will overwrite the ExpirationDate of the base license with the date the next subscription will expire, so you will get a fair warning early enough. Never will we show NEVER again [;)]
Regarding the number crunching in the bargraphs. We offer to enrich them with the current real value of connections and users so even though you might still have a percentage of 0% you will see e.g. 348 connections and 45 users or so.
Yes, I like the idea of showing the actual numbers... the demo system I took the screenshot from had 4 client IPs in use and about 100 concurrent connections ... it was a 50 user power home license.
