1. We'll keep all of the posts on here so nothing is lost. You won't need to take back ups. If something is missing I'm here to resolve it. 2. We'll keep all the current mods on here as mods in the new system. 3. Regarding the localized boards: Current thinking is that we'll migrate the German board only and set it to read-only (can search but no new posts). We're working on a function to allow non-English posts to be tagged by the poster (or you mods should correct when you see it's missed). Then searches can filter by language so if you don't want to see localized posts you can exclude them. 4. I'd prefer to take the opportunity to 'clean up' the stale user accounts of those who have not signed in for say 12 mths. This would de-clutter the new authentication system/free up usernames for the future. Old posts from non-migrated users will be attributed to an account(s) setup to show the user wasn't migrated.
