please turn on anti-spam

I used to admin a vbulletin 3.8x forum.  I ahd to do a ton of work into keeping spammers from one registering and then posting.

Two things:

Admins:

1/. go get an akismet key and activate the in the forums admincp

2.  Look into installing the stopforumspam.com modification at stopforumspam.com.  

between these two I managed to nearly eliminate spammers form the forums.

    Hi, William,

    I just deleted about 30 posts and banned five users.  All seemed to be the same.  I guess that this spammer can't sign up automatically.  He signs up, posts 4-to-6 spams, then creates another account and continues.  I would guess that banning doesn't affect him because he assumes he will be banned and never uses the same creds.  I think that Wingman and I combined have banned him 30 times.
