Understanding Firmware Information

I am having problems understanding AP Firmware.

In Sophos Central, if I go to Wireless and Access Points, The summary screen says that I have Firmware v2.3.4-4

If I go to Firewall Management -> Firewalls -> Backup & Firmware -> Pattern Updates, the summary screen says that AP Firmware is 11.0.020

Both of these screens say firmware. What do they mean? What firmware are we using? Can you help me understand?

Appliance is a XG116W

    Hello there, 

    Thanks for reaching out to Sophos Community 

    If your AP is managed by Sophos Central your AP will have the firmware stated on the Central Wireless > Overview > Wireless Dashboard > Access points

    If managed by Sophos Firewall you would have the current firmware pattern shown on the Firewall's Pattern Updates.
