APX 320X management

Hi Nabil BERRADA APX 320x Outdoor unit can only be managed from Sophos Central as of now and and not manageable from XG or UTM firewall.

APX320x management from on-premise or from XG is under future road map and under progress.

Hey Nabil, 

is there a date available, when APX320X will be managable via XG/SG on Prem. 

There are many customers waiting for the feature.

APX320 is manageable with XG hardware.

Thank you for the information. But question is for APX320X not for APX320. Managable via SG is more interessting for me.

Why not using it via Central? Most use cases can be build within Central in even more complex cases. This would give you more performance on the Appliance for other jobs.

Customer is not allowed to use Cloud Services. From the technical point of view better solution via cloud. Since Sophos announced SG and XG compabilitiy coming in early 2021. Its time for them to deliver!

Thats correct - The subscription is not free, hence it will come with more features in Central. Its not free on SG as well but most customers get it included in the FG license. The assumption its free on SG is not correct.

"with more features in Central" That is not correct for all terms - for example you cannot create a SSID with the same name more than once in Central. e.G. for multiple sites with different settings. That's big missing feature for us compared to XG managed APs.
