The new way of object menu (alphabetical order) in firewall edit rule does not make sense.
- 4 items (IP, IP list, IP range, network) actually point you on the same page.
- 2 items (MAC address, MAC list) actually point you on the same page
So you have 5 menus and 10 links to it – that is really confusing.
I would suggest 2 different solutions:
1) Add will not display submenu, but what it should “Object adding menu (below)”.
Object adding menu (after you click to Add button):
2) Resort the menu in the following order (instead of the alphabetical order the usability order) and fix the links:
IP
IP Network
IP range
IP list
IP groups
------
FQDN host
FQDN group
-----
MAC address
MAC list
-----
Country group
