v19 EAP update issue

V18.5 MR2 is not supported to migrate. See Release Notes.

Sophos Firewall OS v19 EAP1 (Build 244) is a fully supported upgrade from v17.5 MR14 and later, v18 MR3 and later and all previous versions of v18.5 except the latest v18.5 MR2.

it claims it will boot with default config after I upload the firmware, does it not migrate?

Will try to downgrade from MR2 RTFM. :-)

How does it look to upgrading from SFOS 18.5.1 MR-1-Build326?

Should work without any issue.

Do you know if V18.5 MR2 will be supported in the next EAP release?

I can revert to MR1 and upgrade to EAP but you can't restore MR2 configs to the EAP. I've made too many changes to my config since installing V18.5 MR2 so the initial EAP is not an option if I have to lose all those changes.

Yes, EAP2 will cover MR2.
