Just deployed this FW.
Hi Peter-Paul,
what of the new features can you see and use in your installation and how much additional memory has it used?
ian
the reason I ask is because as far as I can see very few if any of the new features add any functionality to none xgs customers.

Hello,
I had a total device crash a few weeks ago, and I noticed that its memory utilization has reached 96%.

since i updated to 19GA version, I've had this kind of problem with memory, it doesn't reduce consumption.
I'm currently on version SFOs 19.0.1 MR-1-Build365 and I'm still having issues.
This is a V19.5 EAP Thread. So it could not be related. Please follow with Sophos Support on such version issues.

ok, thanks.
When i migrated to EAP19.5 my system stable at around 75% memory consumtion. Since then it has slowly increased, today it sits around 93/94%.
Would this qualify as a "mem leak"?
[Edited: Corrected 95% to 75%]
You said after migration it was at 95%, but now it's at 93/94%. Does it mean memory usage actually decreased during this time after upgrade?
Sorry about that, meant to say 75%.
Just adjusted this.
Is it possible for you to open a support access tunnel, so Engineering can take a look at your device to see what's using memory?
You can PM me the support access ID.
I presume this is a Home installation?

Hi Peter,
Our engineering team investigated your device, and can see kernel memory slowly increasing over time.
This is an issue we're aware of in the v19.5 EAP1 build, and something we've already fixed for the v19.5 GA build. You should not see this issue anymore if you upgrade to the GA build which will be released very soon.
Thank you for reporting this!
Thanks for investigating this and sharing the findings!
Wil wait for the GA.
