AP55C and XG 210 - No Internet Access on Wireless Network

I recently installed an XG 210 and a few AP 55 C's. I am running into a problem trying to configure my wireless network.

I have my XG 210 which has interface 2 and 3 acting as WAN connections, one for a fail over. I have ports 1,4,5, and 6 bridged together to form my LAN network. I added my AP 55C's to my network. They are discoverable and receive and IP from my internal DCHP server, not my Sophos appliance. DNS is being handled by my internal DNS server.

When I connect to the WiFi network my device receives a valid IP address and can be located in DHCP. I can access other devices on my network by IP address, but cannot access the internet. This seems to be an issue with DNS on my Wireless network. If I manually configure DNS on my WiFi adapter ( Windows 10 computer ) I am able to reach out to the internet.

What am I missing in my configuration?

  • I had done a bridge AP to Lan, but that didn't seem to work for me. I had intended to keep the WiFi on the same subnet as the LAN. This all changed for the better. Now I have my WiFi, VPN and LAN all on different subnets but able to communicate. Thanks for the help!
