Strange problem with 17.0.3 MR3 on intel j1900

Hi all,

Finally got some free time to install SFOS for my home network so i was thinking that a 4 port j1900 with 32SSD will be more than sufficient (several home pc and mobile devices)

Install went smooth...

Connected LAN2 (WAN) to network (another router with DHCP, so double NAT is here)

Connected PC to LAN 1 (LAN) - ip is default 172.16.16.16

After 30 seconds i get internet access (which means that traffic is going with the default settings) on the PC but i cannot access https://172.16.16.16:4444

If i use the console to debug the interfaces i see that IP on the interfaces are fine...

Amy idea what is the problem and maybe where can i find the MR2 iso in order to try to install...

Before trying to install sfos - the same micro PC was running pfsense for a quick test and all of the hardware was fine ...

Please advice any ideas....

do you have 2g or more memory? i hit problem with service crashing (include admin interface) when try to run v17 in vm with only 1g memory.

Hi,

Both VM (which works perfectly) and the minipc (which have problems with admin interface) have 6GB RAM...

Waiting for other ideas... and maybe clarification why i dono see the port 4444 on netstat ...

Hi,

I will try again, the post just vanished as it was being added.

The issue might be caused by a bios setting that the XG doesn't like or stops the process from running. Try asking one of the earlier poster in this thread that has the same hardware as to what their bios settings are?

Any point of interest in the BIOS i should be aware off ???

I cannot find a connection between bios settings and service on port 4444 not starting...

this is my first post here

today I installed XG in a mini PC, for home use, I am an amateur user

connection with WAN behind a router and LAN was OK, I could connect to internet from my PC, but no access to web page at 172.16.16.16:4444

problem solved after I corrected the date and time in the mini PC, a solution I found in this forum

Hi all,

Just to verify that after MR6 - the problem no longer exists and i can install even on the smaller (32GB SSD) HDD...

Looks like i have now a backup drive if needed :)
