Unable to establish PPPOE Connection

Hi,

i tried to established a PPPOE Connection to my ISP (T-Online.de) but i wasnt succesful as i tried a VLAN connection.

Configuration (simple for testing):

---

1x LAN 192.168.2.0/24 static IP for XG - DHCP server enabled for LAN

1x WAN Interface

1 Rule in Firewall Any - any - Any

XG behind a Zyxel VMG1312-B30A -> Briged Mode with VLAN 7 tagged

First try:

WAN -> zone WAN - > PPPOE ->  IPv4 DHCP -> Username and Password filled -> connection established, but no IPTV Stream because of no VLAN Tag

Second try:

WAN -> zone WAN -> DHCP

added VLAN Interface with ID 7 tagged -> PPPOE User and Password  -> Interface assigned to WAN Port

I get no connection. It says:

 

 

Any ideas what i can do?

    Okay found my first mistake... the XG needs a different configuration than an UTM.

    My modem is runnig in bridge mode with a VLAN ID 7. Establishing a VDSL Connection with a UTM works fine with this. XG only establishes a connection without the VLAN 7 Tag but you need to add the tag in the interfaces configuration.

    Does the XG provides a IGMP Proxy for IPTV?
