Since Android 7 and on has trouble using self signed certificates then how can we go about enabling HTTPS filtering on those devices? Does that means that anyone with any Android device purchased from 2017 on is basically in the HTTPS exception rule? However, that can not be the full truth since one of my Android 7 devices uses ADGUARD app to filter ad traffic. That app has somehow enabled it's https self certificate to filter all traffic flowing into the device and there seems to be no issue with that.
What am I missing?
