Any Logging improvements in V17?

I have read in the past that XG log files were lost upon system reboot, and that even when they were not lost, they were inadequate.   Has this situation changed as a result of v17 and its update releases?

    Hi Douglas,

    the log files are retained, but the rest of the reporting no improvement.

    There is lots of data, but you can't relate it to individual usage. I am currently trying to workout how to present the failings of the logging/reporting system in a meaningful way to see if anyone in-charge can add some information as to when we will see improvements.
