CA Publicly Signed Certificate for XG230 Captive Portal

Question

Is it possible to use a Publicly Signed Certificate, from a known CA ( eg Godaddy), for Admin & Captive Portal on a XG230?

The answer is No. 
 The XG presents an internal IP address as the captive portal URL so any publicly signed certificate will still present warnings, ie Common Name Errors. 
 The XG is unable to present it's own hostname - which may work. 
 Sonicwall have had this feature for many years.

Also note, for a publicly signed certficate to work your internal domain name must also be publicly registered (.com, .net, .co.uk) 
 With old style private internal domain names like (.local) you will not get a CA to sign the certificate.
