IPSec VPN - reinitiate not working after PPPoE is reconnected

Hej,

after the PPPoE connection has reconnected automatically, the IPSec tunnel does not work anymore. It seems that the reinitiation of the IPSec tunnels no longer works. After starting the connection manually or restarting the firewall, the tunnel works fine again.

I tested it with "DigitalCertificate", "RSA keys" and IKEv2. The version of the firrewall is v17 MR-3.

Can anyone here help me with that?

This is a bug and it will be fixed with v17 MR-5. Ticket number is NC-26582. Sorry about that :-/

I'm a little late to the party as we just recently bite the bullet and upgraded to SFOS 17. We're still seeing this problem in MR5 and MR6.

David do you have a static assigned IP address from your provider on your PPPoE connection? If so, it's a known issue and will be addressed in 17.1 which is coming sometime mid month in April from what I was told. One of our sites has this issue as well.
