I am trying to configure email protection in XG v17-MR2 for a customer or ours in MTA mode. Everything works fine except for one thing. We want to send email from a particular WAN Alias IP but it seems that currently it is send email on the default WAN IP. I tried to make a NAT policy with the WAN Alias IP and add it to the Auto Added Firewall rule but as soon as i save it, the emails start to pile up in queues and ultimately end up with a failed message.
I only change default MASQ to the new Alias NAT policy. I dont give any gateway. its set to none.
Basically i want to know how to send email via WAN Alias IP address.
