How to Restore configuration from SF-OS 16.05 MR7 into SF-OS 17.0.3 ?

Hi All,

 

can someone teach me how to Restore configuration from SF-OS 16.05 MR7 into SF-OS 17.0.3?

For SF-OS 17.0.3 i used SG230 and SG330 and SF-OS 16.05 MR7 used XG210 and XG230

    Have you checked to see what Firmware versions are on your device and available for them?  Go to System > Backup & Firmware > Firmware.  Under Firmware, you should see the primary Firmware running as well as a fall-back option.  I think you know what the Latest Firmware Available section and the Check for new Firmware button does.

    If 17.0.3 is already in place in Firmware, just click on the swirling arrow icon on the far left of the Firmware installation to reboot your devices with that version.  If 17.0.3 is not already installed but is Available in Latest Firmware, click on the download/install button for it.

    If 17.0.3 is not available in either location, contact Sophos Support to get the version you desire.

    Hi David,

     

    Thanks for the response, actually my box already upgraded from USB booting using rufus.

    and for the restore file i already try but have an error "file can't be restored ... "

     

    sorry, if this problem happen, it can depends on the type of the box that i used? coz i used SG230 and SG330
