Web Filtering and Application control

Hi,

I'm new to Sophos, and im trying to test web Filtering and Application Control on XG Firewall.

i created a test web Protection policy for testing, as shown below

but i faced the following issues,

1. when go to Google.com i get this screen on chrome.

though i have not enabled App control yet.

also i get the same screen when i access youtube.com

when i checked the firewall policy tested i got this screen

can someone guide where i can find a document how to fine tune app and web filtering on XG firewall.

You have HTTPS scanning turned on in your firewall rule. This is used to intercept and decode all encrypted traffic from your client. In order for the client to allow this without warnings, you need to import the certificate authority to the browser. See here for more. This can also be done via AD push.

So far, nothing is using Application Control.

Thanks for the reply, worked as a charm, but im trying to find a guide how to use web filtering with sophos XG firewall, but don't seem to find any?
