XG85W Locking Up Then Restarting

Has anyone experienced their XG85W simply becoming non responsive and then it when it finally becomes responsive again, everything has reset, the run time has reset to zero, logs reset, all the traffic insight etc. I'm  really disappointed with this unit and think this system is either faulty or just a poor product. I am now starting to wonder if purchasing the XG210 was even a good idea now after experiencing the issues I am having ith this XG85W.

    Hi,

    firstly, have you raised a ticket with support?

    secondly, they are really different units performance wise. How long have you had the XG85w?

    Yes a support ticket has been submitted. The unit was plugged in for less than 48 hrs and experienced this issue a couple of times. First is loss of internet then no admin access is possible, check the LAN WAN status lights and although orange no activity. Approx. 5 or so minutes later I see green activity lights on both ports communicating then its accessible and internet restored. Once I go in all logs and stats have restarted from 0.

     

    Its been running now for 11 hours. Unit is brand new, this is about the third lockup, the second time it happened I actually had to remove the power cord to get it back and working, power button would not even shut it down.

    RMA issued for what appears to be defective appliance.

    So I have received my second XG85W and the sluggish performance seemed better but not even 36 hours of running and this replacement is experiencing the exact same issue. Device becomes unresponsive, and eventually a URL error, then 2 or so minutes later interface comes back up to login. Once logged in, all the logs, runtime , traffic is all reset. Appliance is on a backup battery if you are wondering. This is defintely not the appliance for me, going to see what my options are and possibly return all together.
