Dumb question time - about restore and overwriting of licence

I rebuilt my XG using the latest ISO in the hope of fixing broken certificates, didn't work.

So, the recommendation was to apply for a new licence at build time. Easy, now if I use the new licence then restore the current configuration will that over write the new licence and I will be back to square one?

    Hi Ian,

    the License is not part of the Backup it is stored online in Licensing Services and Bound to your Devices Serial Number which isn't Part of the Backup either.

    Hi Ian,
