Ive setup my XG v17 VM and it runs, i have a separate vswitch for LAN & WAN interfaces on XG but what i want to know is what settings is best practice on those vswitches in vmware?? Im mainly thinking of the security settings ie promiscuous mode, mac changes & forged transmits. I have all 3 set to accept on my LAN & WAN Vswitchs. Is that correct?? also should i be setting up changes to the ESXI firewall settings if im using a vswitch for the WAN interface??
Im just making sure the security is as tight as possible but i haven't been able to find out this information anywhere so far.
