I suspect the XG filewall Antivirus may not work, as it does not detect the EICAR test file!!!

Everything should detect this to confirm it works.

Enabled "Scan HTTP, Decrypt and scan HTTPS" on your firewall rules.

I have tried a couple of times to download the http versions and nothing get through the XG, but the sad part is nothing i reported.

One of the https file got through (In do not have https scanning enabled breaks too many things at the moment) and the file got caught by Sophos home anti-virus on the MAC. Not sure what happened to the other files. Found them, showing blocked in the malware logviewer as Virus.

Make sure you do not have any higher level rules that may be taking affect first.

Try going to the new v17 Policy tester, which is accessible via the "Log Viewer" link at tope right.
