User authenticate through web client instead of STAS

Hi All,

I'm having a problem here that part of the AD user are login through web client instead of STAS.

On the XG we have configured the STAS and it is working fine until yesterday we upgraded the box firmware to SFOS 17.0.3 MR-3

Initially all users are being redirected to web portal so we asking them to reboot the PC and login again but only partial are login through STAS.

We have deployed the STAS with multi domain controller by pointing only 1 AD as collector while another 2 AD as agent.

Need some expert advise regarding this.

    Hi Darrow,

    Uncheck, "Show captive portal to unknown users" box in the user based FW-rule and then look in the access_server.log to verify what causes the Users to not authentication via STAS.

    I always suggest users check #8 in my troubleshooting guide here and verify the time settings on the Server and XG but I think the issue is not relative as not all the users are affected. Just my two cents worth.
