Feature: Application Filter as a destination in a firewall rule?

Has there been any consideration to allow an Application Filter to not have any default action "Allow" or "Deny"?  And to allow it to be used as a firewall criteria.

For example:  An "Allow ANY type firewall rule" for an application such as skype or Office365 or other complicated SaaS application where we could stipulate a rule where the destination could be ANY, action could be Allow, but only if Application Control rule equaled a filter of "Skype".  If traffic DOES NOT match the application filter Skype criteria it is NEITHER DROPPED or ALLOWED but rule is NOT MATCHED and rule processing continues to the next rule.  This would be such a useful feature and allow offloading of complicated "application" rules to Sophos to maintain.  It would be great to see application filers moving from just a "filter" to something considered to be a rule matching criteria like firewall rule source, destination, port, etc.
