How to use WAF to protect single server using HTTP and HTTPS

Hi all,

I'm quite new to XG and enjoying the product so far. We have an XG230 and I am struggling to find out how to access an internal webserver using ports 80 and 443. The server hosts 2 websites each with a different domain name.

So far, I have set up the internal webserver as a FQDN host and  I have set up 2 WAF rules (1 for HTTP and 1 for HTTTPS). The HTTP rule works but only if the internal webserver is set to HTTP. Makes sense I know, but I also need to access the other website on the server using HTTPS. If I change the webserver to Encrypted (HTTPS) then the WAF HTTPS rule works but the I can't access the HTTP site.

I'm sure I've set this up incorrectly as there must be a way to access an internal webserver using ports 80 and 443 simultaneously ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm pulling my hair out at the moment :)

Thanks in Advance

Lee
