XG Firewall v17.02, iPhone, Outlook App, Active Sync

Has anybody have this scenario working?

I have used the template Exchange General. Using the imported SSL Cert, added the Web Sever Under Protected Server, there are 2 paths by default (first one includes Microsoft-Active-Sync?*), In Advanced, Protection, Exchange General is selected (not changed default settings), Authentication is set to None. Intrusion Prevention = None, Traffic Shaping = None

So, what I see on Outlook app on iphone is the message Unable to login. If I deliberately use a wrong password, the message changes to check your user name / password. I can see in Log Viewer (Web Server Protection) that there are green entries for my connection.

At the 'back-end' Exchange server, within the Mobile Phones section for the user (me), that there is a partnership. I have also deleted partnerships for that user connected again and new partnership is created.

OWA is working and from external, when you type in the web address it goes straight to the page (do not see Continue not recommended). If I turn on Authentication basic with passthrough, I am prompted for username and password and then goes straight to the OWA login page. So, OWA is definitely working, just not Active Sync. I have set protection to none, and no difference.

So, as far as I can tell, the rule is allowing entry, it does reach the 'back-end' Exchange server, yet the message from Outlook on iPhone is a simple 'Unable to login'

Any help for what area to look at / suggested changes / most welcome. Once I have this working, I will create a fully documented article, as there is not one at present in the community, on the web.

Many thanks
