Wasn't really sure where to post this but this is just my opinion form today's remote support help. First the technician was very friendly, although difficult to understand at times, we managed to converse. Here is one thing I was and still am skeptical about, the method in which support took place, the procedure is uneasy. Connecting through a URL that in my opinion, seems suspicious and then giving access to your system when the URL doesn't give any credibility that is was indeed Sophos. I'm actually still very uneasy that there wasn't a more internal type of access or through my SophServe account.
It has just left me with an uneasiness in my stomach the connection process reminded me so much of those fake support mechanisms you hear so much about. I think there needs to be a more sophisticated system if you want users like myself, to trust support connections.
