Hi all,
a few days ago, I had to find out the Webinterface Port of a XG Firewall. I only had Console and SSH access (advanced shell) and the Webinterfaceport was changed by someone else to a unknown Port. I tried that, what I would do on a utm (netstat -anopt | grep -httpd), I issued a netstat -anopt and tried to find a process, that could be the process for the webservice. But I actually didn´t find that process. After a certain time, I got somebody to tell me that port. With that knowledge I made a netstat -anopt and "grepped" for that port. Guess what: I didn´nt find it. I asked our distributor to ask sophos. The say, there is no possibility to find out the port, the Webinterface runs on. Serious???
Well, Im expecting, that at least someone of you guys can explain to me, which process (name) is responsible for the webinterface and why it is not listed when executing the netstat command.... What ports are opened aswell, that I cannot see without a portscan???
Regards
Sebastian
