How to disable the "New Firmware Available" message?

Where is the "automatic check function"?

I can't find it.

there is only an automatic check for patterns, and not for firmware. you will have to just tick the check box "Don't notify me about this upgrade again" once a month or whenever you log in and get the warning.

Its hardly a big issue.

You could also setup a new user and assign a new profile for him so he sees everything except firmware tab, it may then not prompt you to upgrade perhaps.

I found if I check the "Don't notify me about this upgrade again" and click the "Cancel" link,

the notice will still shows next time.

But if I check the option and close dialog box, then the notice will not show again.

Ah, thanks! I was clicking cancel and it would just pop up again.
