Problems with Web Policy and Apple devices

Hello,

I'm working my way through the xg-firewall as a home user, so be lenient with me.
I have adopted the default setting for the first time.
My phenomenon is as follows:
I've been going to my subscribed Youtube channel and there I'm on all my Apple devices the videos won't show up with Android but they're all displayed. If I take out the "Web Policy" default Policy out of the box, it also works for Apple devices, but that's not the point.
Did anyone have an explanation

Sorry for my bad English

  • I’m also using Sophos XG V17-MR1 (Home License) but I’m not having any of the issues with using YouTube on my Apple devices. I modified my ‘Default Policy’ to include only ‘Phising & Fraud’, ‘Spam URLs’ and ‘Spyware & Malware’ categories. I’m guessing it’s something in that ‘Default Policy’ which seemed to be designed more for business/corporate use. That is strange it works with your Android devices though. Are you having the issue on your Apple devices when using the YouTube app or when you try to access the YouTube website via a browser (or both)?
