I have been running the XG firewall for about 1 year. I only had a DSL connection up to now, so I was never really concerned when I saw the interface speed "Auto Negotiated" connection through the WAN as 10Mbps half duplex.
I have just upgraded to fibre but my speed tests gave me the same speeds as my DSL connection. When I checked the WAN Interface Speed set at "Auto Negotiated", it is reported a 10 Mbps half duplex connection. Switching this from "Auto" to 100Mbps - half duplex, boosted my connection speed to the full 20Mbps +. Similarly, I noticed that my LAN interface speed was "Auto Negotiated" to 10 Mbps - half duplex. I changed this to "1000Mbps - full duplex". Everything is at full speed now.
I don't see why XG cannot "Auto Negotiate" a connection properly. Unless there is some other setting that I've missed.
I'm running XG17.0.1
