After further investigation, this bug is due to a known issue: WINEP-11654
The fix for this is to be included in the next update for endpoint, tentatively scheduled for a mid-December release.

It is a year later and we have this same issue today. Our firewall is an XG135 with build SFOS 17.5.1 MR-1.

5 servers showing as RED in firewall heartbeat, but Green in Sophos Central..

Any solutions here?

Update to MR4. There is a Fix for this issue.
