Has anyone ever tested a red appliance in transparent mode with static up-links?!
I have tried it with various XG appliances and just cant get it to work with that specific mode and setup.
The tunnel comes up on the red side and the client under red are accessing internet perfectly but cannot connect to the split network.
Go back to the XG webadmin interface and the appliance is up but no ip shows and it doesnt show i have deployed in static mode in the interface section under network tab.
Click inside the RED configuration and the settings are configure with static uplinks.
Open the routing table and it doesn't show up there for some reason.
Use the same exact rules and change to any other mode regardless of the uplinks being DHCP or static its working like a charm even when deployed in transparent mode but with DHCP uplinks.
Funny thing i have a friend whom focuses on SG mostly and is telling me that same scenario and configuration is working under SG.
Was wondering if anyone faced this issue and has come up to some sort of conclusion regarding the matter.
