All Wifi connections are lost every x minutes.

It started with v17 MR1 that every x minutes all Wifi connections are lost and all clients have to login again.

Using AP55c with WPA2 Enterprise.

I reverted back to v17 GA but it didn't change the behaviour so I updated again to the MR1 to be up to date.

I have pulled the cable for a while of the AP55c and restarted it this way, same behaviour though.

Anyone has the same issue? That is even more disturbing than the previous daily reboot, which is fixed -> thanks Sophos and Deepti.

  • The awed.log contained these logs around every 5 minutes starting at the time of the MR1 update.

I removed the AP55c, restarted the Sophos XG box and added it again. Now observing but it seems better.

  • The issue didn't reoccur, the log file stays clean. Solved.
