High Load Average on Sophos XG running in Azure

Has anyone experience high load averages on Sophos XG running in Azure? Also, when I try to push templates via SFM, the reverseproxy stops responding and it takes over 5 minutes to apply a simple firewall rule

    How are you pushing the policy to the XG? Best practice is to use a template and only apply the configuration that you've changed instead of re-applying all configuration even though they have not changed. You save precious resources on the firewall by doing this.
