having ongoing web browsing failures. One particular user (my manager) is running a continuous ping to google.com that randomly fails for anywhere from a few seconds to a minute but them comes back up.
At the same time, he's running continuous ping to a server at a remote site, which is connected via VPN from the XG. That ping is strong and doesn't drop at all.
so I'm not sure where to turn to troubleshooting that is very random.
We are running STAS, web filtering, IPS using a built-in profile, application control, etc. I've turned all of them off at one point or another for testing without any improvement.
I should mention that my own computer is on a subnet that is not included in the firewall rule that includes the various settings mentioned above and I do not see the issue happening.
