2. So i try to check my Web Filter and technicaly my web filter is not blocking anything even a Porn.

3. I try not using Web Filter to make sure that all content youtube are perform, the ressult is all content in youtube show.

My Question is why Web Filter is Blocking content in youtube even there is no policy for blocking negative content like Nude & adult.

  • In v17 when you check "Enforce SafeSearch" it will turn on Google SafeSearch and also YouTube Restricted mode.  This is actually the same functionality as we had about a year ago in 16/16.5, before YouTube changed "Safety mode" to "Restricted mode".

  • There is actually an unfixed bug first reported in BETA versions of SFOS 17 where YouTube restricted mode just doesn't work correctly. Once enabled YouTube doesn't just force you into "restricted mode" and many, many videos that would otherwise work fine in restricted mode fail to playback.  The error message you receive

This video is restricted. Try signing in with a Google Apps account.

Seems to suggest that if you login to YouTube it will work but logging in accomplishes NOTHING.  It's pretty sad because there is so much good content available there much of it curated by sites like DIGG and my kids love to watch them but I'm not willing to put up with the filth so we suffer through until someone figures out the problem and patches it.
