Sophos XG V17 on Cyberoam CR300ing XP Performance

Hey all,

So to those of you who, like me, are running a CR300ing XP unit or similar and have installed v17... How is your performance? Ours is not too great, especially when viewing the log viewer. Sometimes it will load forever when applying a filter, and it generally clears all the performance graphs when the log viewer has been used.

The Performance indicator is permanently orange now, with CPU usage constantly between 25 and 80%, and a load average of ~2.7 with spikes over 9.0...

    For those experiencing this that may happen upon this thread, and those following that haven't commented: I ended up rolling the unit back to 16.05.8 MR8. The performance issues and failures to update the Sophos AV pattern where too much for our production environment. Waiting for the next release so I can see if there are any performance improvements...

    Still wondering where all the other CR300ing (XP) owners are...
