How do I install the XG17 SSL/https scanning cert into windows/android/Iphone devices?

In SG it was nice....I am honestly thinking of going back to SG line....and I am just testing it on my own time at home for my corporation since I didn't want to take my own IT time going away from Fortinet just to secure an enclave to test this software...and boy... this is kind of buggy.   Some parts of my corp are on SG line and some are on fortinet, I was hoping to sway the vote to XG but this is not making it easy.

  • Hello Pickle Rick,

For desktop, laptop and server follow the bellow link to import certificate in your browser.

    For Android and iOS

You need to download Sophos Network Agent on your mobile  from Apple AppStore or Google Play Store, and also download and import mobile certificate in Network Agent. Mobile Certificate can be found in XG device under Authentication > Client Download.

    Regards, Ronak.

  • I've been trying to get this working for weeks without any luck whatsoever. I tried Ronak's suggestion and installed the app, logged into the user portal, downloaded the android certificate, imported it using the Network Agent app, logged into the app and says connected.

But, the second I enable Decrypt and Scan HTTPS for the zone that my phone is in, everything stops working. When I try to browse the internet I get the error "Your connection is not private" error in Chrome, telling my attackers are trying to steal my information, and all internet related apps simply fail to connect.

I would love to get this working on Android devices. HTTPS Decryption and Scanning working wonderfully on Windows and Mac OSX machines.
