How do I block Nations ? Coming from SG 9.x solution blocking a nation was easy.

I have SG9 loaded on another image just in case while I am testing out the XG 17 and so far I am having mixed feelings.  Basically in SG I could block nations very easily...if I wanted to block China I would block China and when I went to Baidu it was blocked.  Here I create a new rule in firewall to block nations, I set it as the top rule and yet I can easily surf to Baidu.

  • You need rule to block connections from china to anywhere and from anywhere to china.

Block connection from china to china makes no sense.

Also you should disable match known users function. Other wise the rule won't apply if it can't match to a user.

  • Ok understood the matched users and I removed those and changed/added new rules...but still not being blocked.  i.e I can go to any top 20 Chinese websites without an issue... baidu...qq...etc

In SG 9.5 when I blocked nations I blocked nations....I could not reach those sites PERIOD.
