Reassigning interfaces

Is there an easy way of reassigning an interface? For instance one of our ISP's has the option for a copper hand off or fiber hand off. We originally chose a copper hand off and plugged that in. Now that we have a new switch it is easier to use a fiber hand off. Is there a way to transfer all IP's and alias's to a different interface without losing all of the configuration we already have? I started doing this tonight and it was going to be way more work than it was worth to move it to fiber. I would end up having to recreate all of my firewall rules that ran through that particular gateway address. All of my NAT rules would have to be recreated, etc. Please tell me there is. This seems pretty basic.
