Communicate from LAN1 over WAN1 to WAN2 via DNAT to LAN2

Hi together,

I'm not sure what is wrong. I have 5 external WAN IPs and 5 interal LAN IPs.

From LAN1 my requests are going over WAN1
Same from LAN2 over WAN2.

Now I tried to get HTTPS reuqest from LAN1 to LAN2 over WAN2. This traffic is blocked by Local_ACL.

I cannot find what I have to do to allow this traffic. In packet capturing I get this reason Violation "Local_ACL" with Rule ID 0

Is there any way to connect from LAN1 over WAN1 to LAN2 over WAN2?
I know that the IPs are on the same Firewall, I don't create a route from LAN1 to LAN2. I should be routed over the WAN interfaces.

Is that possible?

I hope you can help me.

  • Hi Michael,

Why would you route the LAN1 traffic via WAN towards LAN2 from a DNAT? When you can easily achieve this via LAN to LAN communication with a simple firewall rule.

Please explain your requirement for this routing and we can certainly think of a way to help you.

    Thanks
