IPsec VPN Client on iPhone

Hi ive followed the howto video - connection works on the iPhone (it connects..) but no internet. Do i have to add any firewall rules or similar? Sorry tried to search for my issue in the forum without success...

    David,

    you need to create a firewall rule where source zone is VPN, source network is the IP address pool assigned to IPSec clients, destination is WAN and masquerading is turned on.

    Fantastic! took me 1 min! And if i want access to my LAN I just add "Lan" in Destination Zone... correct?! (works for me). 

    Really thanks for the input - just wondering why they make a step-by-step video for dummy's like me without even telling this simple step? Shouldn't we tell them?

    David,

    glad you fix it. People using Firewall should have some basic understanding on how things work and are managed. Simplying install XG and try to make things working is not the best practice without a general firewall knowledges.

    Sure dont get me wrong.. I get your point but still such "simple" video should help (they just could mention and dont forget the rule..) as this is very basic stuff... Anyways I was able to manage now to the next level https scanning and netflix...
