SPX encrypted email never shows up

Hello,

I am new to SPX encryption and have been testing the feature this week on our XG firewall. I feel that I'm close to getting this rolled out but I'm running into a curious issue (well, more than one, but I'll keep this brief).

When I send an encrypted message to my own gmail account, which was not yet registered, it goes ahead and sends the SPX Registration link.
Once I register and set a password, I wait for the encrypted PDF to come through. Except it never does.

Shouldn't the XG send the encrypted email w/ PDF attachment shortly after registration? I checked spam and all that and it is not there. If it matters, we are in Legacy mode as MTA mode is not an option.

Hi Sandra,

Have you already created an SMTP policy on your XG to allow SPX encrypted email?

Hi Karlos,

Yes, I believe I followed that exact KB. Any encrypted emails that are sent after the user registers go through OK, just not the first one that prompted the registration.

Hi Sandra,

Have you checked your firewall to see if the encrypted email is actually being sent out? You can do another test and check your Email logs from your Log Viewer on your UI or awarrensmtp.log from your console.

Hi Karlos,

I looked at the log and saw an entry (going to my gmail address) with the subject ****Non-disclosed subject. I assume that was the registration email?
There are no other entries and I did not get the encrypted message after registering.

I have another question - please let me know if this warrants another thread - how do I set a custom PDF cover page on the XG for SPX encryption? All of the documentation I found on Google is for the UTM or email appliance and I can't find the same options in the SPX template on the XG firewall.
