How to use the Micro-USB management port on 2017 new appliance?

Dear All,

There is a new Micro-USB management port on 2017 new appliance.

Anyone knows how to use this to manage XG?

  • About the new micro-usb management port,

user can connect it with normal micro-USB cable as following.

And win10 can find the compatible driver automatically.

Even the old OS like WinXP, user can use the inside driver (come with WinXP) to install.

After installed the driver, user can connect XG with SSH easily.

  • While this is good to know, it does not address the settings for the COM port, on PUTTY for instance.  What data rate?  Flow control?   I have Windows 7 and had to install drivers for this.  The COM port is now there and with PUTTY open I can see "garbage" characters on the screen as the XG powers up but nothing else.   Usually this indicates a data rate mismatch.   What speed does it communicate at?
