Firewall logs fills so it crashes every 14 days..

Every 14th day I must log in to the console and remove all logs otherwise it will crash and restart and will be difficult to log in.

Should not it be safe to indicate that you want logging without the risk of crashing. ?

I have a XG135 (SFOS 16.05.8 MR-8)

No logs older then 3 month. But I still need to purge the logs from the console.

  • Hi,

    sounds like you need s disk upgrade, talk to your reseller. Do the daily statistics show any other signs of overload eg, memory, CPU. How many users and how many firewall rules?

  • Hi GLC,

    you may need to check the number of users as suggested, could you run the command in console > system dia sh disk ,

    You should receive the output as

    Partition Utilization(%)
    ===============================
    configuration 11%
    content 7%
    report 4%
    console>

    Please post your output .
