UTQ Widget

Hi,

I'm using Sophos XG version SFOS 16.05.8 MR-8 on a home license on my network at home mainly to gain familiarity with the product.  The setup at present is extremely simple - there are some firewall rules permitting access from IP based hosts on the inside to the outside and I'm not using any form of user authentication at this point in time.

One thing I find mildly distracting is the UTQ widget on the main dashboard is always red.  There is no number next to it - it is just a red blob in a sea of otherwise green and blue icons and text.  Is there something I need to configure to make this widget go green or grey or in the worst case scenario, can the widget simply be removed?

Thanks in advance!

  • as long as you doesn't have authenticated users and you doesn't have atp configured you'll see a red icon.

you cannot customize the dashboard to remove the UTQ Icon.

for your @Home Setup I Suggest to set some DHCP Reservations for known devices and create "Clientless Users" for those IPs.

then wait some time / do some surfing that the Firewall cann calculate your UTQ.

if everything is fine you'll see a gray icon.

    yours Lukas
