New Firmware 16.05.8 MR-8 stable?

The release notes popped up in one of my XG upgrade firmware notices just now:

• SF 16.05 MR8 (16.05.8.320)

• NC-21404 [Authentication] Authentication Agent - getting logged out automatically at random time.
• NC-21538 [Authentication] STAS user login getting failed because access_server is assigning existing liveuserid to new login user.

• NC-22018 [Base System] Openssl update for v16.05.
• NC-22059 [Firewall] SSL decryption should not be enabled by the wizard.

• NC-21712 [IPS] IPS service not starting in v16.05 MR7.

As you have already mentioned that the behavior is persist from first release of XG.

The notification mail would be generated after set time to max +1 hour, as we have every hour thread to check the mail notification queue.

Thanks deeptibhavsar. If the system says that Daily report will be sent at specified time, the reports must be sent at that time and not with +1 random time.

A NC should be opened and fixed.

But, that only explains half the issue. Time zones changing on an XG that is in a different time zone, not GMT.

no, I haven't done either. This issue only arose after either MR6 or MR7 was released regarding time and time zone.

I have the same issue with BIOS and time zone on a brand new build mr7 that was upgraded to v17b.

Thank you for the reported one, we have already JIRA ID for the same NC-21762 and it is resolved in SFOS 17 Beta-2.

You can set the timezone from the UI, to resolve the issue.

I have set the time in the UI, but it does not have any affect on the report generation times. Looking forward to the fix.

ran that command an the console hung. The XG appears to be working okay. I will not have physical access to the box until Friday morning my time.
