Hi,
I am planning a gentle migration from UTM to XG. Therefor I want to user the XG in a new subnet "behind" the UTM. My UTM is connected to the internet via a vigor modem on the WAN-port which works fine. My "old" Subnet, where the LAN-port of the UTM is located, is 192.168.252.0/24, the new one with the LAN-port of the SG is ...253.0/24. So the WAN-port gf the SG got ...252.254 and is connected to the switch where the LAN-Port of the UTM is located.
I do not know if the setup is correct for reaching the Internet, but, at least, I should be able to ping any IP in the subnet 252.0/24. Or am I wrong? In fact I cannot and would be very thankful if somebody could tell me where I am wrong. The only ip I can ping is ...252.254, which is the IP of the XG-interface in the "old" net.
Thanks
Christian
